Contract not cancelled

I have 2 contracts with virgin mobile one i wanted upgraded and the cancelled, first mandi cancelled the wrong number and when i emailed him about this matter he sent me an email confirming that it had been sorted out and now when i look at my bill it still hasnt been cancelled. i will not be held liable for this contract.
