I upgraded my Vodacom contract from a BB service to S Smart and to a Samsung Galaxy S4, to my shock I realised that I am still paying the R59 BIS service. When I called and inquired why I am still billed the agent (she was very helpful) told me that it was my responsibility to cancel the BIS so I asked her to cancel, my question if one upgrades your contract from a BIS BB to a S Smart and another brand is it not the agent that assist you with the upgrade to inform you of all cancellations or do so pro rata? I called twice about this and both agents said there is nothing they can do. This happened to 3 people I know and only after they wrote to Hello Peter they were assisted and reimbursed. My complaint is then aimed at paying for a service not used due to the lack of some person not informing you to cancel an unneeded service.
