I recently upgraded my Vodacom contract from a BB service to S Smart, to my shock I realised that I am still paying the R59 BIS service. When I called and inquired why I am still billed the agent (she was very helpful) told me that it was my responsibility to cancel the BIS, my question if one upgrades your contract from a BIS BB to a S Smart is it not the agent that assist you with the upgrade to inform you of all cancellations or do so pro rata? My complaint is then aimed at paying for a service not used due to the lack of some person not informing you to cancel an unneeded service.
