I took a reduced subscription to my topup contract on renewal last year. I have seen tha my additional airtime spend is quite significant and that I can get a better handset on a Smart contract! Upgrade date is only in May 2014 and I want to change now. You cant. what? Migrating? They say I should cancel contract, pay the cancellation fee (which I never initially got told about or agreed to over the phone - isnt that some CPA breach?), convert to prepaid and then reapply fot the contract. I get sent a cancellation quote with the fee (which no-one can explain what Im paying for, I get no value from the amount im paying). I pay it and then go to the Vodashop at V & A. The consultant phones 0821958 to get this process underway only to get told that there will be a cooldown period of 3- 6 months. I had to cancel my cancellation. Come on Vodacom, do you want more and customer support or what? Transferred from consultant to consultant to manger to manager and no-one can tak responsibility for a query. No. So disappointed, .
