Hassling contract transfer (CellC/Vodacom instead?)

Towards the end of 2013, I went to MTN for an upgrade and a transfer of account, from my father's name (who is the current holder) to my own. After much hassle, I was able to compile all documents needed. I dragged my father down to their branch, we both signed dozens of pages. He also signed an upgrade package which was supposed to take effect once the package was loaded.

Ten days later, I returned to finalise the upgrade and collect a new phone. My current one is no longer functional. I was told that there are issues with both my upgrade and the transfer. Allow me to clarify my discontent:

[1]The upgrade is delayed, as the package listed in their magazine was not loaded onto their systems. The branch requested it to be loaded when the papers were signed, but 10 days later MTN still failed to get it done.

[2]The transfer was submitted, but due to an admin error, I am required to wait two more weeks. It makes it extremely difficult, as I will be away for three months.

[3]Although I informed the MTN staff of my finite time, I only learned of the errors when I went to their branch today.

If you intend on keeping me on as a client, you have got to try harder. You have 30 days.
