I did an early upgrade in May 2013 then my new contract only started on the 10th of October 2013 within a week my line was suspended and they told me that I owe R9000 (in one week!!!) and they said that is for the Internet which I hardly use, and with the old contract (top up contract I could use R29 data bundles for 2 weeks) now with the new contract in one week they told me that I need to pay R9000!!! I complained and up until today Ive got no joy. then they told me I must apply for a detailed report of which I did about 7 Weeks ago and no one had bothered to give a response up until today, and the only thing they are good at is to suspend my phone then I'm paying monthly payments for a dead phone and at the moment they say I'm owing R21000 and I'm not willing to pay for something I don't know.
even that Internet, I hardly use it and I have full access of Internet at work, so why will I use my fone for Internet during the day and even at night the statements shows that I was on Internet in midnight while I'm sleeping. I was exposed to the fone for 4 months before the start of the new contract, so there's no way that I would not know how to switch off Internet after use.
