Last month my debit order didn't run as I changed jobs & was a week short on my salary. I phoned to inform cell c as to my situation & asked for a re-run of the debit order for the 14th Dec, they said as it falls over the weekend, it would only be processed the following working day so it was suggested that i pay directly at the bank. They said as I am a good cell c client they would not bar my lines, I have 2 contracts. Two days after that phone call, they barred my 1 line. I didn't get to the bank so on Tuesday 17th Dec (Monday being a public holiday) I phoned to request them to do a re-run of the debit order, the lady i spoke to said that as i had made an arrangement for the 14th they could not do the debit order, i then spoke to a manager and he said that it could be done but it would take 24hours. Wednesday came and went, no debit order. I phoned yesterday (Thursday 19 Dec) & again the lady told me the same story as the Tues conversation. I phoned head office, spoke to a manager who said that it was not noted & would take a further 24 hrs. They then barred my 2nd line. It is now Friday 84hrs since Tues & still no re-run of the debit order & 2 barred lines. Cell C???
