I received an exceptionally high bill on my 3g account. I queried the bill with Vodacom and after investigation, Vodacom advised this bill was for useage over 3 days. I advised I have telkom adsl and was not using the modem as it was in my laptop bag. No one listened to me instead I was offered a goodwill gesture on conclusion of the investigation. I accepted the goodwill gesture as I knew I could not challenge vodacom on this billing nor take further action. I realised the easiest will be to pay the account. I contacted Vodacom on numerous occassions (I have details of date, time and consultant I spoke to) to make arrangements to pay off the account, with no joy. Instead I was transferred from one dept to the next. The frustration set in and I gave up. A few months ago I find out that Vodacom handed my account to attorneys. I have attempted through the attorneys to settle this amount on condition my details are removed from the credit bureau and am still not able to resolve this issue. Where do I go to from here? Clearly someone is not doing what they supposed to.
