I received a sms from Altec Auto Page on Wednesday, 17 July 2013, to inform me that I might be due for an upgrade. I then phoned on the 19th and spoke to Jackie at 11h15, she said the system was down and would phone me back. She took all my details and phoned me back at 11h27 and informed me that I was already due for an upgrade as from 6th of June 2013 and that I can come around to do the upgrade. I went through to East Rand Mall where the lady at the counter informed me that my upgrade is only due on the 24th of July 2013. I then asked to speak to Jackie who came through from the back and simply said... honest mistake, she thought I was Mr Delport??? This after she took all my details and phoned me back on my number??? So what are they going to do about this... nothing... honest mistake. Wasted my time, my fuel and trust in Altec Auto Page. I would just like to some sort of management to look at this, as the lady in question were not even sorry about this nor was prepared to assist or make amends.
