Virgin Mobile Have once again infuriated me by making what should be a simple process, a nightmare.
Its hard to accept that when your cell phone gets that the effort you need to put in to rectify the problem is massive, and of course with no reward.

One must drive 35 km to one of there only two existing stores in Cape Town as there is no way of contacting them over the phone. Because if you do not have a Virgin Mobile number you have to use an alternative service number which does not work as you can not get through regardless of how many times you try.

I was told the only way is to buy a prepaid sim card from the shop and to use that to phone off so that i can get hold of them... I refuse to accept that as "the norm".

Once i got to the branch it took me an hour to find out that there is a problem with head office and that they need to do some sort of over ride to ensure my number works. The individual at the store told me with certainty that all would be in order with in two hours. It is a pity then that two hours have long since past yet still i sit with no phone and no way of contacting my service provider. (funny name that... SERVICE provider)
