My landline at my residential address is out of order and the fault was logged onloine on 21/02/2013. A week prior to this I had experienced issues with the landline and was resolved qickly. After logging a complaint I receive an SMS stating the cable has to be replaced and will be done on 13/03/2013. A few days later I receive another SMS stating the cable will be replaced now on 29/03/2013. Each day I have logged an online complaint with Telkom requesting someone to come to back to me as the other landlines in the area are working. I have not heard from anyone at Telkom and I am being billed for rental of the service which I am not receiving. Surely someone can assist and speed up the process of repairing this landline.
