Poor fault repair service

My telephone and ADSL service was interrupted on the 30/05/2013, I sms'ed a complaint to Telkom. I then met one of the technicians in my street who was repairing another fault, he informed me that my line was down due to a cable break in my area. He said he would raise a job card for the cable break. The following day I phoned Telkom to enquire of my fault progress and also to inform them of the cable break causing my fault. I must admit the interest in my situation from the call center operator was limited. On 01/06/2013 I received an edSMS informing me that my complaint was in hand, on 02/06/2013 I received an SMS that a technician had been assigned to my fault, on 03/06/2013 a technician came to my property to enquire about my fault and called me from the lady who works for me cell phone. I informed him that the fault was a cable break in the area not at my home. It has now been a week that I have no service, there seems to be a total lack of communication between the service departments at Telkom and valuable information that you give them is totally discarded.
