Extremely bad purchase process on website

I tried to purchase a Do Uncapped account on Telkom's website. It is the most shockingly unusable process I've come across. Firstly it forced me to enter my telephone number so that it's magical system can determine my 'exchange maximum speed' which honestly is immaterial to me when I am just purchasing an ADSL account and I know what I want. After entering my phone number the system just said it's unable to determine the max speed and I have to phone. So I thought I'd be clever and 'fake' my exchange location. So I chose to continue without a number and specified my address as being in the Cape Town City Centre. this actually worked and the system said I could buy an ADSL account, I thought for a moment that I had won. Only to click next to be presented with a fabulous SERVER 500 error. I could go no further and could not purchase an ADSL account. I guess I'll just have to go to MWeb.
