Sucking every last penny out of the custome

My 3G contract was finally up for cancellation in Jan 2013. I've been longing for the day of getting away from the criminal* out-of-bundle charges that cost me thousands last year!

I specifically asked when I can cancel in the Cresta Vodacom shop & phoned 111 & everyone said Jan. When I phoned cancellations early in Jan I checked again - same response - so I cancelled. The lady said my sim would be deleted on the morning of 28 Jan. I finally installed ADSL hoping my salary is safe again!

Turns out I'm wrong. Now they say the last day is 9 Feb so I'll be charged for Feb. I just want it cancelled please! I cannot afford another day of Vodacom 3G! Plus I have ADSL now!

*These are my payments in 2012 because I went over the cap by 300-900mb. They dont block you like ADSL so you can stop or purchase a booster - they SOMETIMES send an sms a day or 2 after you've hit the cap which is too late.

The above additonal usage would've cost R30 per month on ADSL.

Last month again I didnt get the sms (I checked everyday!) so I've gone over and am expecting another bill that I honestly do not have the money for!
