Phoned Telkom to terminate services to 0217801522 from 1 Dec 2012 on 15 Nov 2012 as we were moving (Cancellation ref #: 67401285A). I get a bill for December and now apparantly (I have not checked my post yet) for January too. I call in today and finally get through (I've been trying to get through for 2 weeks now). The lady at accounts says my adsl is still running and will transfer me to cancellations dept. Lady at cancellations says that I cant run adsl without having the line run. When I ask what happened on the 15th Nov 2012 when I called in to cancel and received cancellation ref # 6740125A, she says that there is no record of this cancellation. What a bunch of palookas you are Telkom. Now I've cancelled all services with a new reference number 70889099A. Will I have to call in a third time to find out none of the cancellations have registered whist Telkom continues to bill me? I am livid. Telkom, sort out your!
