Dear Sir/Madam,
My MTNSP invoice dated 10/12/2013 contains incorrect charges.
I upgraded my contract to the MTN Anytime 350 via MTN direct and received the Samsung Galaxy S4 (I previously had a blackberry) (according to the MTN direct website this deal included an additional 150mb of data, bring the total to 500mb). I was told that my previous contract ended on the date that I applied for the upgrade and that my new contract will take effect from that date (ie. I will receive 500mb data, R350, 60 min MTN to MTN calls and the regular sms's). Subsequently I received my invoice dated 10/12/2013, which reflected that I was charged for BIS (which should have been removed), R180.27 (excl. VAT) in data charges & R57.98 (excl. VAT) in call charges. It appears that I was charged the full MTN Anytime 350 package rate while not receiving the allocated benefits as indicated above and as a result had to pay for data and calls that were already included in the contract. I called and discussed the matter with MTN and they referred me to MTN direct and the consultant that signed up the upgrade. Almost two months later and no resolution. I have called and emailed numerous times.
