I have had a Mweb ADSL line for just one month and it seems that i have already been throttled, i have read that users will only get throttled after 200 gigs or more date=a has been downloaded, but i have only just reached 90 gigs so far and have been throttled already, the speeds i am getting now are unbelievably slow and is making the ADSL service unusable.
it takes a few minutes just to load a normal sized web page, never mind trying to watch a youtube Video.
the biggest problem i have is that i am meant to be on a premium uncapped service which apparently is meant to be a bit better than the regular ADSL uncapped service.
so far i see no difference except the higher price that i pay per month.
i don't get that there are users out there who have the same service that i do and are only getting throttled after 200 gigs or more but i have barely reached half of that and i get throttled.
this is unacceptable and it seems that mweb cant put a number on their Fair usage policy which makes it easier for them to say that throttling my account was due to my high usage, except no where on their Ts&Cs does it say that 90 gigs is too high for the Uncapped premium account
