I right this complaint being totally frustrated and unhappy at the bad service I am receiving from Vodacom. I have a Samsung Note 3 that was bought from Vodacom. It comes pre-installed with Vodafone protect application.
I activated this application on 20 January 2013, I had to restart my phone this morning because I restored some old information. The phone restarted, I put in my pin code, lock code and then Vodafone protect asked for a pin which I have forgotten
I tried using the forgot pin option on the phone, it said it will e-mail me the instructions on how to reset the password on my e-mail address. The e-mail stated the following " We received a request that you want to reset your PIN for Vodafone Protect. To proceed, click the link below:
[URL Removed] If you did not request a PIN reset, please ignore this email.
Vodafone Protect.
When I follow the link to [URL Removed] it does not have the reset password function.
I have tried to call and e-mail various departments without any joy. I just keep being transferred from one department to the other.
Could your'll please sort this system glitch out. Please??
