How long does it take to respond to queirys logged

I took out my contract on 3 March 2010. I did an early up grade on 26 April 2011 leaving 11 months still on my contract. I am now being told that I can only cancel my contract in September 2014. That means an extra 6 months have been added. I have logged a quiery and was told that I would have a response in 48 hours. 1 week later I called and got told they were still busy but would have a response the next day. A further week later still no response and the customer services cannot tell me what is happening I must wait!!!
