Impossible to get my new sim card activated

Being a fan of online shopping I decided to give the Vodacom online store a try. Big mistake (even Vodastore employees unanimously agreed on this).

So I ordered a Samsung S4-mini on the 20th of Dec and was told the phone would be delivered within 2 working days. Around the 28th I was told there was no stock. The handset was finally delivered on 10th Jan.

Upon finally receiving the phone, matter only got worse. I was moving from an incomplete Cell C contract and needed a number-port to the Vodacom network. To do this I have had to pay ~R60 which I did. Vodacom then needed to port the number and activate the SIM card. Apparently this task was far too difficult for various departments. The next two weeks have consisted of varying stories from multiple people in an array of departments. Even supervisors and "team-leaders" have been incapable of helping or just full of empty promises.

It is now the 23rd. My Cell C contract finishes on the 27th. If I do not have an active handset by the 26th, this contract will be cancelled and I will choose another SP.

There is also the matter of money and time wasted on call centres and the pointless R60 I paid for early release of a number.
