We applied for a landline, together with ADSL.
Telkom out of their own initiative decided they are going to put us on a 12 month contract which we didn't sign up for.
After several calls and reference numbers, they called us and said the will cancel the contract, and give us discount on the line because of bad service.
Trying to move over the ADSL portion of the line over to Afrihost, once again being faced with this contract. The consultant who called us decided it is best if she just puts us on a new contract.
We have been having endless problems with this line, and the service from Telkom. Friday 17 Jan 2014 I called them again, and asked to cancel the contract without penalties due to Telkoms administrative mistake on my account.
To date nothing has been done...
