Sim card settings

I got a new Samsung S4 on Friday from a supplier, the phone was working absolutely fine till I received a sms saying that Vodacom has picked up that my sim was inserted into a new phone, for MMS and Internet connection settings reply and install files will be send to you. Which I did but after installing the settings nothing was working anymore and I could not even phone on the phone anymore. First I though that it must be the hardware and I toke it into the shop where I purchased the phone.

The supplier was very nice and immediately gave me a new phone which we tested to make sure everything is fine, which it was... untill I replied Yes to these settings again and now Im back at square 1...

When I spoke to the Call centre they said to me that for the new phones you dont have to do these settings any more and I need to take it back to the supplier. I dont think this is fair for the problem does not lay with them but with Vodacom, now they want me to take the phone into their service centre where they will probably need 7 days to fix the mistake they made and inconvenience me

Not cool Vodacom!!!
