I went to the store to do a sim swop. This took two visits to the store on the same day approximately an hour apart. After the initial visit I was advised by the consultant serving me to return later as their system was down after head office installed an advertising monitor in the store. When I returned later I was served by another consultant who is not only incompetent but very poorly trained if at all. It took her is excess of thirty minutes to do a sim swop, complete a ten entry form, take my payment and give me change and a receipt. All the while she kept insisting that she is deliberately slow to avoid making errors. This store is permanently full not because its busy. No. It takes the staff long to process customers requests because of their inexperience as a result of the high staff turn over in the store. After this experience I went to the Altech Autopage Cellular store next door only to discover that I erred in paying for the sim swop as the contract is with them and only they can issue me with a SIM card. They suggested I return the Cell C issued card and request a refund. The supervisor told me in no uncertain terms where to get off, despite the sim being useless.
