In Decemeber I went on holiday to Namibia and my phone roaming was one as I cross the boarder the updates start to update but with roaming rates at a cost of R29 000 after just 2 days and MTN only stop my account AFTER R29 000, when I ask why they stop after R29 000 they said they pickup a high activity alert - why didn't they stop the account on R5000 as my account is NEVER more than R1400 p/m. In november I ask MTN to put a limit on my account and their reply is they cannot put limits OR block any paid internet sides!!! Why can Vodacom do this? Is this a money making scheme to make money from customers? Today I had to pay the account or they will hand my account over for collection. Need to sort this out ASAP why was their NO ALERT when I cross the border as I didn't know the updates was done on raoming tarrifs.
