Today I have requested a ITC Report only to find that MBD has placed 1 trace alert on my account. As per The Prescriptions Act 68 of 1969, whatever this is should be prescribed, the account with MBD should be closed and the Trace Alert record removed from my ITC and Experian profile.. Whatever account this is, you have no legal right to collect on it now and no right to place a Trace Alert on my ITC Profile. Please also stop harassing me at my place of work via email and sms's. I am giving you 7 days to have the Trace Alert removed. I have kept all records and will be referring this to the Credit Ombudsman for further investigation if not resolved.
Debt prescribes if:
You have not acknowledged the debt in the past 3 years either verbally or by signing a form
You have not made any payment towards settling it
You have not received a summons for it
