I received an sms from Transunion today stating that someone checked my profile for credit application, when I checked it was CellC, and I NEVER applied for credit at CellC yesterday, as we all know that this drops my credit score. I am not happy by CellCs incompetence. Please rectify this matter urgently and it is not the first time I have had an issue with CellC, the first time the messed with my payment profile and gave Transunion wrong information that I didn't pay my account and in the meantime my account is uptodate. I have heard it and I have been a valued customer for CellC for a while now but the treatment Im getting is not right, please rectify this. I have a data package and cellphone with CellC. Lorraine Responded to my complaint and said 'This is the system that sends out automatic sms to the client
This particular one was for her 100MB of data that you receive every month with your package. All clients that have a cell c contract are automatically credit scored on our Systems'. This is not right, what has this got to d with anything, checking someone's profile reduces the credit score, this will prevent me from applying for credit because of the low score.
