I Took up a contract with Vodacom SP online and requested that the contract be put on my existing number, consultant told me once i recieve my fone i would need to go do a sim swop and have my number put on the contract. I was promised to get my phone with in 24 Hours. I only recieved my phone after a week. Once recieved i went to a Vodacom store only to find out that the Vodacom sim card was already activated and i would not be able to use my existing number.a month after a got the phone it started giving me problems! Consultant at Vodacom told me on the 06.12.13 that I should book my phone in for repairs but advised me that it could take up to 6 weeks to come back due to everyone closing for christmas. On 04.01.14 i took it in for repairs & was told the phone wasnt on warranty! proof of purchase was sent to them & phone was sent for repairs. Recieved a call on 07.01.14 advising that my phone was back from repairs but nothing was done to it because it has no warranty! after questioning why a 2 month contract had no warranty i had to send Proof of purchase again to Vodacom! Now i must wait up to 3 weeks to hear of another excuse why it is not fixed! Sick of Vodacoms empty promises!
