I buy a cell phone for my daughter from Edgars Clearwater on the 23rd December 2013, When we try to use the cell phone no network and she also cant make calls.

The past week I took back the phone to Edgars to be checked. Now I receive an sms from MTN repair centre stating that it will cost R800.00 to repair the phone.

I call the call centre and I'm told they didn't receive proof of purchase. When I took in my cell for repairs proof of purchase was requested and a copy was made. Now the call centre lady (Gugu Makhubo) tells me its my responsibility. I explained to her that its a matter between the branch, where the phone was picked up and not and the repair centre. The repair centre should have contacted Edgars Clear Water not myself.

If possible I request a full refund so that I can go buy a new phone somewhere else
