Well done! Your disgusting service still amazes me

Took out a contract on 8 Dec 2011 for a laptop & 500MB with Vodacom. The consultant explained to me that I will be paying the laptop unit off over a period of 24 months & 500MB data over 36 months. Total montly payment R499.00. The 24 months on the laptop expired 8 Dec 2013 & the full premium is still being debitted. The premium should have become cheaper as I am not suppose to be paying for the laptop anymore only the data. At Vodacom this morning the consultant confirms the laptop was 24 months & data 36 months. I asked why are they still debitting for the laptop which I have now paid for in full & the answer is because the data contract is for 36 months. What?? That is crazy!! It's the same as to sell a sofa to somebody for R5000 and then once they finished paying it you continue to charge them because they sit on the sofa. I have checked my contract and funniest of all is that they did not even fill in writing what the contract period is. Therefore the oral confirmation of 24 months when I took out the contract and the oral confirmation of 24 months this morning should stand. I demand that Vodacom sort this out! I cannot pay R499 a month for 500MB data!!
