I have a contract with MTN which is under my partner's name. On 13 Jan 2014, they suspended both our numbers eventhough i have paid more than their monthly instalment on 20 Dec 2013. When i phoned the query, i was told i am not the account holder. I was using my office line. My partner couldnt phone them coz he was on the road and his phone was suspended. His business was impacted. I then asked the lady to tell me what he needs to do to get hold of them. She said she DID NOT KNOW! I asked her to give me her name (this is after hodling for almost 30 minutes with her for about 6 minutes). She wouldnt give me her name. I asked for her supervisor, she put the phone down, didnt hang up. I could still hear voices. I continued holding until i gave up. I am seriously livid! How stupid is this process? I have my partner's details. I wish i had asked a male colleaque to phone and pretend to be my partner. All of this would have been sorted. MTN, your system is stupid. You are about to lose two customers. You CANNOT suspend my number... I PAID! In advance and over!!!
