Skills - hard to come by!

While I have had numerous issues in my almost 20 years with Nashua mobile and considered transferring at every juncture, I always came up with a solution that will work going forward in the belief that telecoms is challenging in it's complexity. This time however, a month into simply -"we don't really know so it must be someone else's problem", I have no choice to search for new alternatives. I bought a iPhone 4s for my partner and arranged a Cell C SIM swap from a Mini SIM to a micro SIM. Now 5 SIMS later and 22 Dec - 13 Jan only one SIM attempt worked temporarily - a resized Mini SIM. That died, so it has been replaced with another Micro SIM with no service for 3 days again. The delays are blamed on Cell C or Apple. I was previously sent to Apple only to have every other cellular carriers micro SIM demonstrated working in the iPhone 4s and in fact my own micro SIM (of my personal phone) works just find in the iPhone. But I didn't buy the iPhone for myself, but for my partner who has not had service now FOREVER! I Am now exhausted after days at Nashua Mobile on 5 occasions and hours at Apple (2x) only to waste my time. I need a more drastic solution.
