I had a 3G contract with Vodacom which i took out at Vodacom 4U Greenstone 3 years ago. The contract expired end of September 2012 and opted to continue on a month to month bases. In December 2012 my account was debited with over R3800 and again in January with R6641, I went to investigate only to find out that a new contract was opened in Greenstone in my name in October 2012. I asked for the contract documents used to open the new contract. the first thing I noticed was the signature which was not mine, secondly among the documents was a copy of an ID, with my ID number, my names, an incorrect issue date and a picture of a man. Also the work address used and residential address were old information (that used to open the original contract) Now i'm a woman and this was an obvious case of. Neil, the store manager promised to take this up with Vodacom's department and that my money would be reimbursed. Also informed me of similar incidents where staff was involved. Its been over a month now and i still have not heard anything from Vodacm and when i follow up with the store manager he says its out of his hands and he's also getting no feedback from the department.
