Massively over billed with no notice!

I have a data contract with Vodacom where i recieve 3gb per month for R199 per month.
I opened the contract at the Tygervalley branch on the 18th November 2012. We were informed that we will have 3gb each month and because we opted for the open line, another 3gb after 12pm. We also opted to but a limit on the open line of R100.
After the month of November, where we not once went over 3gb, the debit order didnt go off my account.
I was then informed we will be double deducted at the end of December.
End of December comes and i find out i have been deducted over R1000! ehich is ridiculous considering we have not once gone over 3gb, and even if we did, should not be near R100 due to the limit we set up.

When we called, we were informed that due to the first month being pro rata, we were paying for almost 1.8gb over our cap, which is ridiculous. Nico not once informed us that we would have pro rata cap for the month. He also failed to set up the limit.

I feel as a customer i have been misinformed and my request for the limit was not set up and i am very dissapointed in Vodacom as i have always praised the service I recieved.

I want that money back, or my account credited please.
