I booked my blackberry torch 9810 in for repairs at MTN Kenilworth Centre on 12 Dec 2013 for the first time since I took out the contract 18 months ago. Arthur completed a booking in assessment form, verifying that there were no dents, scratches & cracks on the phone- just the peeling of the paint which he acknowledged as normal wear & tear. After NO FEEDBACK WHATSOEVER from MTN, I went into the store on 6th Jan 2014 & was informed that my phone was returned unrepaired & my warranty voided due to apparent physical damage to the phone. The store contacted HVRC & the consultant informed me that the motherboard was defective & she accused me of dropping the phone. On 8 Jan 2014, I spoke to Dudu & Sierra at HVRC-according to the system, the phone was recieved in poor condition but could not provide me with a detailed report to substantiate their statement. I have never received such bad service from a cellphone company. I currently have 2 contracts totaling almost R1000 per month & always pay on time. To receive such bad service has left me to question my decision to make MTN my preferred service provide
