UNEXPLAINABLE CHARGES

I HAVE A CELLPHONE CONTRACT VODACOM AND IN EARLY JANUARY I LOST MY SIM CARD (BUT ONLY REALISED LAST WEEK 31/01/2013 THAT MY SIM CARD WAS MISSING AS I RARELY USE THE PHONE). THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I APPLIED FOR A SIM SWAP I WAS TOLD THAT I OWE R3 300.00 R.NOW I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IT COMES TO THAT AMOUNT AS I HAVENT USED THIS PHONE SINCE EARLY JANUARY.IF I TRY TO GET HOLD OF THE CALL CENTRE I GET NO ANSWER;NOW WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW I GOT TO HAVE A BILL OF R3 300.00 AS I FEEL IM BEING OVER CHARGED, IM EVEN THINKING OF TERMINATING THE CONTRACT BECAUSE THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY ON THEWAY THEY DO THEIR BILLING.(FOR REF. MY VODACOM CONTRACT NO IS 0795703231). AGAIN WHEN I HAD DONE THE SIM SWAP MY PHONE WAS IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTED & WHEN I WENT TO THE GERMISTON GOLDEN WALK BRANCH I WAS TOLD ITS BECAUSE I OWE R52.62 WHICH I PAID (03/02/2013) AND THE PROOF FAXED. I WAS TOLD THAT EARLY TO DAY MY PHONE WOULD BE RECONNECTED BY STILL HASNT HAPPENED.PLEASE I NEED AN ANSWER AS TO HOW I WAS BILLED & WHY MY FONE WAS DISCONNECTED.
