Vodacom
300 minutes and time

My contract expired end July 2013. I decided to change to Cell C and port my number. I notified Vodacom and Cell C, filling in forms, doing the necessary. Friday the 30th August I still had 300 free min left on my contract. My aim was to phone friends and family on Sat to use up the minutes. At 4am on the 31st they cut my phone. I drove around to find a Vodacom shop - they informed me that Customer care was only open week days. I had to purchase air time, activate prepaid to use my phone - once again costing me money. Monday I went to Vodaworld, where I explained my situation, to be told I they would either give me a voucher or some compensation but would let me know in 48 hours. I waited. Went back 2 weeks later, queried again - to be told by another consultant that it had not been looked into! He would too get back to me the same day... nothing. End of the month I am billed by Vodacom for R59 with no statement or reason!!! I go back in and speak to the Customer Care Supervisor, who also assures me that they will get back to me. I get a call 2 days later with - sorry they cant do anything. I refuse to accept and ask for a manager to call me. I am still waiting. shocking.
