In the beginning of December I upgraded from a Blackberry to a Nokia Lumina at the Clearwater branch. I pay my cellphone account via debit order, on the 2nd of January MTN debited much more money from my account than they were supposed to. I phoned MTN and was informed that they still deducted BIS. R260.00 for data charges, R108.00 upgrade fee and then my normal monthly subscription. I informed her that I no longer have a blackberry so they couldnt charge BIS and that I have 350mb data to use and that I used my MTN loyalty points to get another 500mb, so going over wasnt an option. I was told that she would log a query but that I would have to go back to my branch to ask them why they didnt load the new contract's details. Really? I asked her how long the query would take and was informed 5-10 days, that is ridiculous as you are so easy to take money but then you take weeks to give it back. I want this sorted out right now and want to cancel my debit order, I will pay by eft from now on.
