I checked my transaction statement and realised that there was unauthorised activity on my account, I phoned the Customer Care department to query the transactions, they informed me it was a debit order transaction from a company know as RS Marketing and gave me a contact number from an outside company to query the transactions, I managed to establish that the charged was not authorised by myself, when I phoned FNB back to tell them that this was not authorised by me they told me they will put a stop order on the debit-order and charge me for this, I did not agree to this as it was the Bank's error and not my fault that an debit-order was authorised without my signature, I was informed that I will need to go into a branch to get my query resolved and refunds to be made to my account, it was also put to me that I will have to contact RS Marketing to stop the debit-order to my account. My question "How was this debit-order charged to my account in the first place without the necessary legal documentation? "
