APPALLING SERVICE - MTN INSURANCE

Trying to contact the MTN Insurance Dept is nothing short of a nightmare!!! They are so quick to sell you insurance but when you need to make a claim they make the process virtually impossible. There is NO way of contacting them via landline - ONLY by cell phone!!! Normally one makes a claim because one's phone is lost, or damaged. If you have no cell phone HOW are you supposed to contact them? For a company that supposedly specialises in COMMUNICATION - MTN is clueless. I have been trying to get through to them since yesterday on 083 123 6084 to place a claim for my sons phone. This morning I held on for over 75 MINUTES before giving up. This is truly unacceptable service!!! I complained about this in September last year - emailing my complaint to the Customer Service Centre and have yet to receive the courtesy of a reply!!! I have spoken to Customer Services who promise to send an email to the Insurance Dept asking them to contact me This doesn't happen!!! WHY do these consultants say they will do this when nothing is going to come of it? No one should have to undergo this stress and hassle to contact a Service Provider. Please help.
