Desperately wanting to ensure my phone

Upgraded to new Iphone on December 18th and have been desperately calling the number of MTN insurance.
( you press "0" to be transferred to an operator and then you listen endlessly to the annoying MTN jingle with no indication of where in the caller queue you stand.)
And so eventually you give up.
Emailed them at customer services - no response except an sms query line number provided and telling me to sms my query which I promptly did and I am still waiting and walking around with an uninsured Iphone 5 which if lost or will not be replaced by MTN to whom I pay monthly handset insurance simply because they still have the EMEI number of my old Iphone on their file for my policy.
