So I phone Telkom and apply for a new ADLS line in November 2013. I ask the lady processing the request if this will still happen in 2013, and she assures me that it will, as they have a 21 work day delivery window.

So after no luck and no installation during 2013 I phoned again today only to be told there are no lines available in my area, and that I would have to wait until 28 February for installation, and also that this date is not guaranteed and I will only know then if there is a line available for me... otherwise I would just have to wait some more. It is not so much the fact that one has to wait 3 months for an ADLS line, but the fact that they promise on something they cannot delive
