Phone de-activated

In May I changed my contract from MTN to Cell C. My number was ported and RICA'd on the Cell C network.

On Saturday 10 August, while I was driving up to Johannesburg, a computer at Cell C deactivated my sim at approximately 8.30 am. No message was given to me, my number just ceased to exist. My payments are up to date. All my messages telling family where I was did not go through. I also run a home based bookkeeping business

On Mon 12 Aug I went to the Sandton branch of Autopage (my contract is through them). The consultant there told me that my number had to be re-ported onto the Cell C network. Everything should be in order in 2 to 24 hours later.

On Tues 13 Aug back to Autopage Sandton. Now they had to RICA my sim because it had been re-ported. Another 2 to 24 hours.

On Wed 14 Aug back to Autopage Sandton. at 9.30am. They had to RICA the sim again. Back again at 2.30 pm. The manager at Autopage got on the line again with Cell C to sort out problem. At 4pm Cell C knocked off for the day. No more action from Cell C.

On Thurs 15 Aug approx. 11 am Autopage managed to get Cell C to sort out the problem.

I want an apology and some type of credit from Cell C. Shocking service!!!
