No 3G!!!

For more than a week 3G has not been working on my iPhone and iPad that shares the same contract number. Called 082155 a week ago and spent a good hour on the phone with tech. Tech escalated the call to the "tower" technicians - only received feedback almost a week later to tell me that there is a problem with the tower in my area. I explained that I cannot access 3G anywhere in Pretoria. Visited Vodacom in Menlyn yesterday and spent close to three hours whilst they attempted to fix the problem. Again the escalated the problem and asked where I can be contacted - I gave them my cell number and home tel. number. On Saturday morning the called me twice but I was not available to answer the phone (phone not with me). A short SMS followed indicating that the call has been closed because I did not answer - BUT NOBODY BOTHERED TO CALL MY LANDLINE NUMBER!

Again spent almost 30 minutes holding for a 082155 call centre agent to answer. Again escalated the problem and AGAIN I WAIT. In the meantime I have even restored the phone's software but still not 3G.
The service form Vodacom is pathetic. I am considering cancelling this contract for non-performance AND WILL defend any legal action.
