I recently collected my brand new top-up contract phone from MTN in Killarney, having switched from prepaid to contract. The phone underwent a sim-swap which only took place on Monday 23 December. When the handset started to work, everything was in order except my ability to make and receive calls, but I was still able to make one or 2 calls and still call MTN service, 808 number. The assistant who looked into my query did a reset on the network for me and I had to keep my phone off for 15min. When I rebooted my iphone5S I was unable to make or receive calls at all, including the MTN service no. I went into Mtn Balfour Park and was assisted by a gentleman who went thru all troubleshooting with me and Mtn service reset my phone on the network. Now I'm able to receive calls but unable to make any and I am beyond frustrated!!! Mtn are looking into it, but I am not satisfied as this iPhone is brand new and should be working properly. WHY CANT YOUR TECHNICAL DEPT FIX IT IMMEDIATELY? I want answers or I want my contract cancelled! It's that simple.
