I took out vodacom contracts and paid them religiously until February 2012 when I lost my job and so defaulted. I sent all documentation showing my legal battle with my previous employer and that I would pay it as soon as monies owed to me were given. They left it at that and my contracts were cut and suspended. I then received letters from their lawyers saying I had been handed over and was liable for ALL the data and insurance as well as airtime that was NOT received. When I contacted the lawyers to sort it out I was told to phone Vodacom who I did and they told me to discuss it with the lawyers who again informed me to take the matter up with Vodacom. They seek payment but have not responded to my questions about why I should pay for goods not received? I feel liable only for the items I possess not for data, insurance and airtime I did not recieve. No person walks into a shop to pay for their items and walk out without them!
