I have an 8ta cellphone contract linked to my landline (telkom mix). I needed to know whether telkom adopts the same policy on upgrading contracts as other networks which allow you to upgrade a few months before the 24 mnth contract period is up. After dialling the 8ta customer service number and speaking to about 5 consultants, I was transferred to telkom customer care. After speaking to another 4 or 5 consultants with no joy the last one told me that the telkom store would know best how to answer my query. For a communication network, this lack of proper communication is really disappointing.
