Good day. On Friday, 20 Dec 2013, I received a sms: "Reminder: You are subscribed to Gogogy Subscription Service R5/day. To unsubscribe SMS STOP to 43962. Help: 084 194 2222.
I called immediately because I did NOT subscribe to this service. The call centre guy tried to convince me that I was not subscribed yet. That was not what the sms told me and he pull an attitude when I told him that they operate in an illegal manner. I asked him to ensure that the subscription is stopped immediately.
I was not convinced that he would do that. I visited the CellC shop at Mall@Reds and a kind lady (Jennifer) called CellC and confirmed that Gogogy is a content provider on their list. She also called Gogogy and asked for the subscription to be stopped. We also sms STOP to the number provided.
To my dismay, 3 days and R15 later it is still not stopped. A while back I was hooked similarly by Mira Networks. Thus the 2nd time to have this bad experience on the CellC network. HeloPeter helped me to get that subscription stopped. I definitely consider moving as my upgrade is due. My husband does not have anything similar on Vodacom. Thank you again and PLEASE help again.
