Yesterday, 8/11, my partner, who uses my CellC phone, received a SMS: "Congratulations! For your loyalty, you've been awarded with a bonus! Click here to activate [URL Removed]

My partner incorrectly touched the HTTP link. She took no other action. 3min later, "Welcome, your subscription is set up to: GO.R7/day. To unsubscribe send STOP GO to 31849. support: 0861106472 . [URL Removed] Clearly a subscription, i.e..

Contacting CellC, ref 1311090000196011 Layla Salaman (1) confirmed a subscription (2) stated Cell C can't stop billing me (a lie) (3) stated I couldn't prevent future billing (a lie) (4) I must contact Mira Networks, who run this (5) denied CellC earns a share of income from these schemes, a lie & a CLEAR conflict of interest.

I contacted 0861106472, chose option 1 to unsubscribe. System indicated 48 working hours to process (more!), i.e. Wednesday/R7 * 5 = R49 later. I then received an SMS, ref 2327825, stating "no subscription was found".

My main # is with Vodacom, who VERIFY subscriptions. CellC doesn't verify because of revshare. CellC is complicit in. I challenge CellC: publish complaint #s re Mira!
