Illegal Subscription

When I received my cellphone account I realised that within the first 12 days of receiving my airtime it was used up. On enquiry from MTN I found out that I am subscribed to Mira Network. I did not ever subscribe to them which means this was done illegally. When I tried calling the telephone number provided by MTN I found an automated voice message to cancel the subscription which I did.

Who are these people and who gives them the right to take my money without my permission. I can't even call them to find out how this happened! Usually when does subscribe to anything there is an sms sent informing you of it which gives you the option of cancelling the subscription but not even this happened. I request that this company refund my money that they illegally took from me.
