Beware: My cell phone account was debited with 'Cellspice subscription' for almost 2 months. I have never subscribed to this 'service'. I only received an sms after 2 months 'confirming' my 'subscription'. I then immediately stopped whatever there was to be stopped. On contacting them they sent me their confirmation of my subscription which I never received. They were unable to produce any communication from my cell phone opting for this service although they boast that a double opting is required before the subscription is activated. I checked my cell phone: I never opted for anything of this nature. In the absence of proof from them that my cell phone number requested the subscription they are surely not entitled to simply register the 'subscription' and hold me at bay. And the cell phone service provider (Nashuamobile) plays along and simply washes its hands: the consumer must pay up and smile. They claim ignorance and are not prepared to assist at all although they I presume earn a nice commission. Something should be done to stop this illegal milking of cell phone users. A complaint with the controlling body WASPA has been lodged. Stay tuned for the results, if any.
